A couple folks have asked what to expect from the food standpoint. They usually require that we do a sit-down dinner at this place, but after getting a bunch of feedback from folks I was able to convince her to let us just do Hors D’oeuvres. The event manager is giving us tons of everything they make, including:
Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce
Fig Mascarpone in Phyllo
Spanikopita
Deviled Eggs
Vegetarian Springrolls
Carpaccio on Crostinis
Belgian Endive with Herbed Goat Cheese and Walnuts
Coconut Shrimp
Bacon Wrapped Scallops
Ahi Tuna or Lobster Tacos
Baked Brie and Raspberry in Phyllo
Shrimp Bruschetta
Crudite: An assortment of fruits, vegetables, cheeses, crackers and dips
Hummus with Pita Chips
Poached Salmon with Dill Sauce and Crackers
Chocolate Fountain: with 5 dipping selections
So yeah, there will be plenty of grub.
BTW, if you know you'll be there, it would help me a ton if you could purchase tickets in advance. I owe another big deposit (50% of the cost) this month, so anyone who can buy early would earn my undying gratitude. You can grab tickets here:
